Couples Photography in Downtown Provo

I am a little behind on this post, but between Thanksgiving and Christmas I was lucky enough to have my parents visiting with me. We went to the Provo Library at Acadamy Square to take some indoor shots as well as a few outdoor ones. I think they turned out great and I was so happy to take these pictures for them! I added a fun one in here too. :)

Family Photography in Downtown Provo

I want to start off by saying that this photo shoot had been rescheduled in an effort to have snow on the ground. The day we ended up taking them, it actually snowed the night before! Perfect, right? No. We had wanted to go up into Hobble Creek canyon, but it was too snowy up there and the roads were bad. Instead, we went to Provo to take some indoor/outdoor photos hoping that there would be snow on the ground. Well, it decided to rain all morning and so a lot of the snow had melted and it was too wet to go outdoors. Eventually, the rain let up a little and we were able to get some nice outdoor shots, and a few of them even have snow! :) Plus, the indoor shots turned out pretty darn well, too! This couple and their little girl were so cute. The little one was very camera shy...not really shy of people, but of the camera itself! All she really wanted was to just run around, which made her very happy! Anytime we tried to get posed for pictures, she immediately became shy. Therefore, in some pictures you may not see her face or she may look sad. Even so, I was able to capture a few happy shots and she is still cute even when sad! :) Thanks for having me take these photos!

Family Photography in Downtown Provo

This adorable family was very patient in their efforts to schedule their session with me. We wanted to stay out of the cold, so we chose an indoor location that turned out great! We did snap a few outdoors as well, and I just really enjoyed taking their pictures. Hope you enjoy them!
